Digg Is No Longer doFollow

Earlier this month, Digg has made a pretty big move. They have added no-follow attribute to all external links until they consider the link was worthy enough to be a do-follow.

As all the new submission was getting dofollow backlink from Digg; it has been one of the internet marketer greatest tools but sadly not anymore as Digg has renewed it’s policy. They are now offering nofollow on all new submission, profiles, external comment links, and even story pages.

Those who’ve been involved in Digg should not fear though. Those old stories you’ve submitted are still dofollow as they will only add nofollow tag on new stories. Old stories are not likely to get no-follow attribute unless if you’ve been spamming a lot of junk stories.

For sure it is important to note that they are obviously doing this to avoid spamming. Instead of completely nofollowing all external links, they are going to have a system that decide whether a link is worth to be followed.
